Considered to be one of the mightiest warriors of his tribe, Bane was to be the next leader.
Everything changed when the tribe was raided by The Devoted. The strongest warriors fought, killing countless raiders, but the swarm kept coming. An endless wave.
Somehow Bane’s wife and child were separated and he frantically searched for them, downing every raider in his way, he see them in the distance. Before he could reach them, at the edge of camp, he watched as a raider ,mercilessly killed them.
Bane couldn’t move, he couldn’t think. He heard someone shout, “get him! Keep that one alive” He saw nothing but the death of his wife and child. He soon felt bodies trying to bring him down.
He easily pushed them off, slaying a few. More came. Soon, he was bound and gagged, a rage building inside, yet unable to be released.
As he is dragged through the dirt, he can see the village burning. Countless numbers dead. Three times more raiders than his own people dead, which brought small, but fading satisfaction.
Bane was yanked to his feet and the last thing he saw before the sack was pulled over his head is the silhouette of his wife and a small bundle of fur still in her arms. He felt a sharp agonizing pain in the back of his head and then all he saw is black.
